Special High School Program Offerings

Accelerated and AP


Duluth High School has special programs specifically designed for incoming 9th graders (AP Human Geography, Accelerated Science, Accelerated Language Arts, Advanced Art, and DREAMS Academy). There is an early online application process for AP Human Geography and Accelerated Science.   The early application window is open from December 6th – December 18th.

Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is a program that provides funding for students at eligible high schools that are enrolled to take approved college-level coursework for credit towards both high school and college graduation requirements.
